- WHY RENT FISHING GEAR INSTEAD OF BUYING IT?

There is no difference in quality whether you rent or buy fishing equipment,  so you can’t go wrong either way. There are a few reasons that people would benefit from renting fishing gear instead of buying it. For instance, if you don’t go fishing frequently or perhaps you're on vacation down here in South Florida, then renting is a great option to look and feel good without the commitment. Also, it is a great way to take advantage of all the new fishing techniques without investing thousands of dollars in gear. Our equipment is made from only premium brands—guaranteeing that you’ll look the part, even if you don’t own the product.

- HOW DOES REEL PLAY FISHING RENTALS WORK?

It's simple. Choose the items that you would like to rent from the 'RENTALS' section on our website. You can book directly on the website or you can give us a call to reserve your daysOnce confirmed, we will contact you to coordinate a pickup/delivery option. Our gear is located at Big Dog Tackle in Pompano Beach and select Freedom Boat Club locations. We can also deliver your combos directly to you. ($149 minimum order required for delivery. 24-hours advanced notice required.) 

- WHAT IS YOUR GEAR LIKE?

Reel Play carries only the best setups for some of the best fighting fish our Atlantic waters have to offer. All rod and reel combos are in excellent condition and are hand-cleaned to ensure you have the best experience possible. They also come pre-spooled with high grade Suffix Monofilament or Diamond Braid to keep you tight on that fish!

- WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY?

We understand plans change for a variety of reasons and of course weather can alter your trip. We ask that you cancel (24) Hours in advance of your intended rental day for a full refund. Cancellations within (24) hours of your rental start date cannot be refunded but instead will be honored with a 100% credit of any amount paid, toward a future rental with us.

 - WHAT ARE THE PAYMENT OPTIONS?

We accept all major credit cards. You will be charged in full upon completing your online order.

- WHAT ARE YOUR HOURS FOR DELIVERY & PICK UP?

We offer delivery and pickup daily, to agreed meeting locations. There is a $149 minimum order required for delivery and we request 24-hours advance notice. Should re-delivery be required for any reason pertaining to the clients responsibilities, we reserve the right to charge a missed delivery charge of $25.

- WHAT HAPPENS IF I LOSE OR BREAK GEAR?

You, as the renter, are completely responsible for our gear from the time you receive till the time we pick-up. As such, we ask that you treat your rental gear as if you owned it. Lost or Stolen equipment will incur replacement costs equal to the wholesale value of the equipment lost or stolen. - WHAT HAPPENS IF I RETURN THE GEAR LATE? (LATE FEE)

Gear must be dropped off at the specified date, time and location. Any customer who does not return gear within the appropriate timeframe may be charged $50 per day in addition to the rental cost of the gear. If gear is not returned within 10 days, your credit card will be charged the full retail price of the gear + taxes in addition to the rental cost of the gear.
